MY APPROACH

I take a holistic view of fitness that goes beyond looking good; it's about cultivating well-being, feeling good and working on the lifestyle changes that will help you get the results you deserve.

My Start With Purpose Plan is a 6wk programme designed to get you unstuck. If you are a yo-yo dieter. This online programme focusses on the daily movement, exercise and nutrition you need for success but more importantly helps you identify and focus in on what it is that is tripping you up every time you start a diet and gives you support so you can work on that. You are not broken or useless at diets! You just need some help to focus on the stuff thats getting in your way!

The Get Fit For a Purpose Plan is an online programme offering a comprehensive blend of customised exercise routines, evidence-based nutritional advice, and sustainable lifestyle changes. Plus, you get coaching support designed to guide you through those inevitable moments when motivation wanes or you temporarily lose focus, ensuring you're never alone on your wellness journey.

Offering a variety of online options to allow you to choose the level of service most suited to your needs whether you are a seasoned gym goer or a complete newbie.

After years in the high-pressure corporate tech world, I know how hard it is to juggle a demanding schedule while trying to maintain your health and well-being. I get it; it's a tall order. 

 

As I transitioned into my 50s, I've found the benefits of regular exercise to be transformative, both mentally and physically. This isn't just a phase of life where you're getting older; it's a period where you can also get wiser about how you treat your body. Having benefited from working with a personal trainer myself for many years, I understand the importance of consistent exercise and resistance training, especially during midlife changes.

​

I've noticed that many women feel self-conscious about exercise. Some have never been on a structured fitness programme. That’s okay; there's a first time for everything, including taking that crucial first step towards better health.

​

Nutrition-wise, things do get a bit trickier as we age. Balancing protein and fats becomes essential, not just for muscle retention but also for hormonal balance. It's not about dieting; it's about making smarter choices for long-term health.

​

Whether you're a beginner with no plans to step foot in a gym (you're an excellent candidate for our home workouts), or perhaps you are already a regular gym-goer seeking targeted guidance, I've got you covered. Whatever your fitness level, we can tailor a plan here to suit your unique needs.

Who is it For?  'Start With Purpose' is tailored for women who are struggling to lose weight and get fit as they get older. It is for Yo-yo dieters and those struggling to lose the stubborn weight gain that creeps up on us. This programme focusses on the fitness and nutrition you need for success but more importantly helps you focus in on what it is thats tripping you up every time you start a diet and work on that.

What's involved?  Quick, effective workouts and simple nutritional targets. I include both Gym, and home workouts designed for all levels of ability, including options for those days when we are struggling and options you can use when you need to take it easier. Everything is in the app so you can access your workouts in the app anytime.

​​

What Support is there if I'm struggling? Mindset, behaviours and habits all play a role in our success. To help you make progress with these you have weekly check-ins so I can keep up to speed with your progress and help you with anything you are struggling with. Additionally in between  those you will have access to me in the group chat to help with your questions, support you through any wobbles, to give you the support to help you make the progress you want. My aim is to make this process fun and enjoyable so you want to keep moving forward with what you learn to get the long term success you deserve!
